In less than a few hours time, we sold out our entire stock of Elvis The Concert DVD's. We respected the chronological order, serving the first members on the waiting list first. um kurz zu erklären was darauf ist !!!! vom prinzip hat man alle songs die gespielt wurden mit dem original bildmaterial und den neuen fassungen verknüpft, sodaß der eindruck entsteht elvis steht wirklich mit ihnen auf der bühne !!!!

mit sicherheit sehenswert !!!!!!! leider hab ich es verpennt eine zu kaufen , übrigens sind die codefree also auch hier normal im dvd abzuspielen !!!

Nachgefragt... bedeutet das: das Bild passt zum Original Sound von 2002 der Musiker oder ist da wieder was gemischt worden?

"Just got this in the mail from Graceland Mail Order.

Wow. Finally, here it is! What fans of this show were waiting for--a wonderful and superior DVD that does the show justice. The sound is great...available in stereo and in 5.1 surround. James is in the mix just right...Ronnie is heard great...sometimes snare a little too low. Backup singers at the right low levels--not overbearing.

They have edited it wonderfully: shots go back from just Elvis (from the footage that is used in the show) to the band and orchestra. The shots go in and out and it feels incredibly real. They'll show shots from the audience to get the scope of the grandness of the stage but the camera gives even time to Elvis and everyone on stage.

For some reason, the TTWII footage looks very muddy and does not look in the crisp condition we have it on DVD. Perhaps because they've zoomed in more on Elvis to capture JUST him in the shot--not so much the background. That probably has distorted the picture a little.

Either way...this is a must. I think it was a great idea for them to allow PBS to show it--it's going to do well.

Throughout the concert there is commentary by Joe Guerico, Ronnie Tutt, Joe Mosceo, and a member of the Jordanairres as they watch an abbreviated version of the concert on a screen in front of them.

The special feature is the complete conversation these guys had un-cut...it's about 35 minutes and it's very interesting. Stories about when this show idea first came around, first rehearsals, and stories about Elvis during the touring years.


If you were a fan of this show....you are going to watch this DVD again and again!!"

This just adds to the excitement....in my opinion...

Two other things did bother me a little, during "Polk Salad Annie"
either Ronnie didn't hit the Tom Tom hard enough at the begining
of the song when Elvis needed it or the mix was slightly off.
For what ever the reason the punch wasn't there in the begining
the rest of the song was perfect tho.....guitar lick and all.....

The other thing was I was a little choked they edited in them talking
in between the solo during "Johnny B Good".....which slightly
broke up the song, other than these couple of things I found no other
faults......

Although we're still waiting for the new load of "The Concert" DVDs from Graceland, we're happy to announce that <span style='color:blue'>there will be DVD's available at the TCB shows next week</span>, straight from the US. However, these DVD's will be offered for sale at the TCB table only, not in the shop in Turnhout. As soon as EPE sends us a new set of DVD's, you'll read it on this website.
