ISBN: 9798246929445Paul Belard´s nächstes Buch trägt den Titel "Elvis: Milton Berle Show - June 6 & 5 1956", hat 210 Seiten, erschien am 15.02.2026 und wird mit folgenden Worten angekündigt:
"Elvis’ legendary rendition of “Hound Dog” delighted the fans. It still does. However, it enraged the critics. One described his exhibition as “tinged with the kind of animalism that should be confined to dives and bordellos.” Another explained with a suggestion of racism that Elvis “makes up for vocal shortcomings with the weirdest and plainly suggestive animation short of an aborigine’s mating dance.”
The reaction of the Catholic Church was predictable. In an article titled “Beware of Elvis Presley”, it wrote “If the agencies - TV and others - would stop handling such nauseating stuff, all the Presleys of our land would soon be swallowed up in the oblivion they deserve.”

Vom britischen Magazin "Vintage Rock" kommt in der "... Presents"-Reihe am 22.01.2026 die nächste Ausgabe mit dem Hauptartikel "The Ultimate Guide To SUN Records" und dieses wird wie folgt angekündigt:
"Over 70 years ago, a visionary producer by the name of Sam Phillips started a record label that would change the world. Sun Records would become the home of many of rock'n'roll's most important players, from Elvis Presley to Jerry Lee Lewis to Carl Perkins, bringing a gritty authenticity to a genre of music that was reverberating through the bedrooms of every teen in America.
In this special tribute to the most iconic record label of all time, we pay tribute to its founder and to its major artists. We remember the women of Sun, as well as its less-celebrated singers, from Billy Lee Riley to Charlie Feathers to Hayden Thompson. We also chat to former Sun promoter Barbara Barnes Sims and, in an interview from the Vintage Rock archives, the late Jimmy Van Eaton. And not only that, we also count down the greatest ever Sun singles. What will be our No.1?
Without Sam Phillips and Sun Records, it's not an exaggeration to say that the history of music would look very different. So join us as we honour America's favourite rock'n'roll label and the icons it helped launch."

Das 131 Seiten starke und von Dave Tayler verfasste Buch "The Imperials: Years Of Impact 1968 - 1971" erschien erst als Kindle-Edition und ist demnächst als Paperback Edition in der Ankündigung.
Ankündigung des Autors:
"Gospel music underwent great changes in the late 1960s with numerous influences from the secular music field becoming prominent in both studio recordings and live performances. Southern Gospel Music was changing from the standard four-part harmony with simple piano accompaniment to sophisticated arrangements and recordings.
The Imperials, while continuing to present songs with a clear gospel message, began to introduce vocal arrangements akin to those of numerous secular vocal groups who were at the time topping the popular charts. This era included the rise of praise music, the advent of contemporary Christian music, the California-based Jesus music, and even the start of what would be called Christian rock. Their progressive approach to new musical directions led to backup vocal work with Elvis Presley, Jimmy Dean and Pat Boone.
While on the cutting edge of the latest developments in musical styles and recording technology, The Imperials continued to present the Message in the most musically proficient, professional and spiritually-uplifting manner befitting the royalty and majesty of their name while representing the King of kings. Inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in 1998, the members of this outstanding vocal group during the years 1968 through 1970 were Armond Morales, Jim Murray, Joe Moscheo II, Terry Blackwood and Roger Wiles. Country singer Larry Gatlin briefly replaced Wiles in 1971 before being succeeded by Greg Gordon, formerly of the Chuck Wagon Gang."
