"My objective is to cover all U.K. vinyl from 1982 to the end of 2027. It is a mighty task with over 570 records to include. This was compounded by my desire to include the German pressed records from the 1980's that weren't pressed specifically for the UK but found themselves in our stores due to the European Customs union."

John Townson und Gordon Minto veröffentlichen den ersten Band aus der fünfteiligen Serie "Elvis UK - 33 1⁄3 r.p.m. - The Ultimate Guide To Elvis Presleys British LPs". Dieser Band umfasst die Jahre 1956 bis 1962 und wird mit folgenden Worten angekündigt:
