my name is marc h. from cologne, germany. i am the webmaster of elvis-presley-superstar.de and co-admin of this messageboard here!
my website has more than 200.000 visitors every year and is on google.com from time to time the no.1 "elvis presley" website. well known by most fans!
i know many people in the elvis world from both sides, but i am not interested in getting involved in all the things behind the scene...

Hi Andylon,
first of all thank your for your hard but fair comments!

There are a lot of facts that you have told us and I don't want to reply to everything that you have named, but I think that everyone who's interested in this subject should read your lines very carefully, 'cause they contain a lot of truth.

You are absolutely right that especially within the last weeks and month are lot of rumors and a lot of troubles were to be "heard" in various messageboards. It was every everything, but not funny.

We, at the Elvis Club Berlin, are very thankful for your kind words about our board and the attached website. And yes, it is true that we are indepented and we do not have to promote other's products or opinions. We are happy about this and will stick to our independece for future times. And of course we welcome every and each website that is acting the same way. I do not know exactly, who is realated to whom, but I think you are right, that EpGold ( www.epgold.com ) is doing such a job. You have a lot of very interesting articles on your side written by many very interesting people from the "Elvis world", you have reports refering to lot of interesting itmes, nice and rare pictures, always the latest news, exciting interviews with for exaple Ernest Mikael Jørgensen and yes, you always name all the new records, officials and in-officials.

Be sure that we welcome this kind of information. I'm pretty sure that Marc's comments were not made to put anybody down. He's openen-minded, independend and all the time interested to make fair comments. His comment was a reaction of the post from DerHammer (whoever he/she is). IMHO his (DerHammer) comments were not the best to stay away from a diffcult discussion. Anyway, your comments, Andylon, have given us a very good impression about you and your way of thinking. And again I can only repeat, that you feel comfortable and welcomed when visiting this site and posting at the messageboard.
On the other hand I do not feel when I have to read, that you are afraid to receive "a lot of private dirty e-mails in the coming days". I really hope that NOBODY who's regitered at this messageboard will write such a silly mail. And I will appeal to evryone not to do so. We are all fans of our man and it is more than unfair to act like this and put others down, only becaus of their different opinions.

Furthermore everyone at this messageboard can write down his own opinion, i.e. about new records and albums. Nobody has to fear any restriction if he/she says that he/she does not like a certain album. I guess that we do not share that opinion, that everything that comes from special labels like LMP, Triangle and others is bad. The other way round is true. LMP has brought us "A Capital Performance" and the general opinion is, that this is a very good and tasteful release. Probably you'll remeber very well that I have had some concerns about this release and I'm still think, that LMP should have named the inserts on the cover text. But maybe I'm a too exact and too careful. But this is not so important, to put a release down. LMP came up with a first nice release and has made themselves a good name. I do believe that most of the people are very happy with this release and looking forward to the release of the HGTA Sessions. Furthermore I have heard "The Perfect Gift" from Triangle (I won this release in a quiz recently) and it sounds better than everything that was released before from this special show.

I hope you see that we are NOT interested to put anyone down. If DerHammer does not feel fine with his latest achievement coming from 2001 he can write this down and there's nothing wrong to say it in the words he did it. But he should not expect, that nobody will reply and he has to expect some very strong reactions if he's doing a review like that. That's the way it goes.

Again Andylon, I have to thank you for your comments and I wish you and your website all the best and much success (that you of course already have). We are always happy to be well informed with the news and interviews coming from your site. And of course we are lucky when you are coming around and sharing your news with us.

Well, just something: I don't care very much about wars between import-labels. I just wait until the CDs are out. And so I'll wait until the LMP version of "HGTAS" is out. And I hope that the sound is really good as some people say.

First of all I'd like to thank you for introducing yourself.

To answer your pre-thread... D.D. is not a member and never was for Ep.Gold.
It's only mentioned that I acknoweleged him to thank him.
( he helped me on pictures from E in Germany ) that's all.
As on many E people I did on my site on my topic acknowledgement.
That means I thanked people in the E world.
That doesn't mean they are members, Marc

Also I never said you accused me of being the producer of all the mentioned labels.

I just introduced myself, because that is what is going around on an all kinds of messageboards around the world.
Now if you believe the gossip on forums that LMP use Fake Stereo on the HGTA Sess., I presume you also believed I am the producer of all those labels, Marc.

You might not want to be involve yourself and stay behind the scene... but you did... than you should never involved me in a posting about the Hammer.

And to my understanding you are a co-webmaster, how is it possible you write that Hammer is .... and is close to another import label called......

It´s stupid and crazy, that people comment about a CD (like the LMP HGTA Set) BEFORE it is released.
If we (the fans) have the chance to buy material from two different sources (like now from 2001 AND LMP) we all should wait till BOTH are out. Than we can compare and make our coice. Everything else is bullshit. Sorry but I see it that way.
I have heard as well, that LMP has the the lost Joan Deary tapes and that they should be in stereo. So now we know that 2001 is in mono. It makes sense than to wait. If it is so, than indead the LMP set would be the better one. If not, than everyone can decide between the two versions.

Let us wait and see....

That is a good idea about a sampler.
I will ask the guys from LMP for permission.

And if not, I might be able to let something else hear from the lost Joan Deary tapes... that has the same quality as the HGTA Master sess.
So you know what to exspect on sound and what Deary did with these Masters.

Thank you so much to confirm that my effort to make it more understanding that it's clear that all the real Elvis Fans has a common of sense to just make up their own minds.

And not be playing around by so called producers to influence them, because only money is the main goal of a product.
But that quality and a good product will win over gossip.
