Doja Cat´s "Vegas" ist die erste Single-Auskopplung zum bevorstehenden Soundtrack des Baz Luhrmann-Films "Elvis" und diese erscheint am 06.05.2022.
Die Single geht einem kompletten Album zum Film voraus, das von RCA für den Sommer geplant ist, wie am Montag bekannt gegeben wurde.
RCA bestätigt vorerst nur, dass das Album Variationen von Presley-Material enthalten wird, an denen eine Reihe namhafter Künstler aus verschiedenen Genres mitwirken. Mit dem "Sommer"-Veröffentlichungsdatum ist wahrscheinlich ein sehr, sehr früher Sommer gemeint, da der Film selbst am 24.06.2022 erscheint, nur wenige Tage nach dem offiziellen Beginn der Saison.
