Im Juni 1964 berichtete "The Elvis Monthly", dass dieses Album jederzeit erscheinen würde und listete auch die 10 Titel auf, die darauf enthalten sein würden. Es würde die Tracks von "Loving You" und die zusätzlichen Bonussongs enthalten.
Noch einmal 1964 meldete "The Elvis Monthly", dass das Veröffentlichungsdatum unbekannt sei, aber möglicherweise im September oder spätestens im Oktober desselben Jahres.
Im April 1965 berichtete Albert Hand ("The Elvis Monthly"-Editor / Owner), dass er eine Demokopie des RD 7586 Albums mit 2 zusätzlichen Songs erhalten hatte, was es zu einem 12-Track Album machte, die zusätzlichen 2 Songs waren "Are You Lonesome Tonight" und "It's Now Or Never".
Bei der Veröffentlichung wurde das Album nur dieses Mal als RD 7723 "Flaming Star & Summer Kisses" herausgegeben, wobei zu erwähnen ist, dass es nie eine SF-Version (Stereo) davon gab.

Für den 27.01.2023 kündigt "Legacy Recordings" die von Ernst Mikael Jørgensen produzierte, vom Grammy Award®-gekröntenProduzenten Matt Ross-Spang gemischte 6 CDs nebst Blu-ray umfassende "Elvis On Tour"-Box an.
Das Set umfasst die Aufnahmen von vier der Shows (und zwei Proben) die Teil von Elvis' Nordamerikatournee 1972 waren. Ursprünglich aufgenommen für den "Elvis On Tour"-Konzertfilm, der später im selben Jahr veröffentlicht wurde, enthält das Set insgesamt 145 Tracks, darunter 91 bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks, sowie den preisgekrönten Konzertfilm auf Blu-ray.
Der Inhalt der vierten CD wurde am 18.04.1972 in der "Convention Center Arena" in San Antonio, Texas, aufgenommen und enthält bereits veröffentlichtes Material (2003: "Elvis: Close-Up"), das für diese Veröffentlichung neu abgemischt wurde.
