Ich habe mal gelesen, dass auf den Czech-CD's "For Movie Fans Only - Vol. 1 - 3" nur Filmversionen von den Filmsongs drauf sind. Stimmt das?

Exakt! Es sind die Versionen direkt vom Celluloid, also inklusive der Dialoge und der Hintergrundgeräusche (Kühe bei Loving You, Auto bei No Room To Rhumba ... usw.)
Der Sound ist exzellent.

Klang ist Top!! Hintergrundgeräusche stören überhaupt nicht!!
Taniolo hat Recht! Sind Super CD's. Das sind meine Lieblingsversionen!
Teils (meistens) sind diese Filmversionen besser, oder Total anders als die Studio Versionen.
Beispiel: I think I'm gonna Like it hear. Da gefällt mir die Filmversion 1000mal besser als die Studio Version.
Bei G.I. Blues singt Elvis z.B. Pocketfull of Rainbows im Duett!!
Oder die Viva las Vegas bzw C'Mon Everybody klingen auch besser als Filmtake.
Das beste Beispiel ist Drums of the Island von Paradiese Hawaiian Style.
Da klingt die Filmversion mit ihren DRUMS VIEL besser (anders) als der Studiotake!

Es gibt doch noch die CD-Serie "Original Film Music". Weiss jemand, ob diese Qualität vergleichbar ist?

Ich hab sie nicht, fand aber auf Elvis-Collectors das er sie mit 3 von 4 Sternen bewertete: "

Ich hab die Serie "OFM". Der Sound ist schon recht toll, aber eben nicht Studioqualität. Darum fragte ich nach. Vielleicht kann ja jemand noch einen 1:1 Test machen.

Der Sound auf den drei For Movie Fans Only ist deutlich besser als auf den OFM.

Bei FMFO wurde remastered, und zwar so, dass die Songs alle (ungefähr) den gleichen Level haben.

Bei OFM ist die Qualität sehr unterschiedlich. Spinout ist z.B. sehr gut, Love me tender hingegen nicht.
Bei Edge of Reality hört man sogar das Videoband flattern.

Dennoch muss man FMFO und OFM einfach haben, wenn man auf die Filmsongs steht, denn die kommen
hier in der Tat oftmals besser rüber als auf den Alben.
