Ronnie McDowells Song - The King is gone - ist wirklilch süper :geheim:

Hier mal der Text:Lyrics:

“The King is gone”

I was barley six years old when first started singing
and somehow I knew from that moment on, that it would be a lifetime thing
and I stand in front of a mirror, day and night, and I’d listen ev’ry one of these records
and I repeat ev’ry word and ev’ry noun, ‘till I found I got it right

And I was the termen, I’d wait for the daily
Maybe I could stand in front of Atlanta, maybe somebody might come up to me and say,
you sound a little like Elvis

there was a man who gave a word a song and the world stood still to hear him sing
a simple man who took his face alone by all the world proclaimed him king
now the king is gone and thou want it rain and the crowd wanna say we’re remain
from a working man to royality to everlasting thing
the king is gone, yeah the king is gone but long live his name

there was a man who tasted sweet succuess, but still gave his hand to help a friend
a loving man who shares happiness, now the king is gone, there was a man
yeah the king is gone and thou want it rain and the crowd wanna say we’re remain
from a working man to royality to everlasting thing
the king is gone, yeah the king is gone but long live his name

yes the king is gone, oh the king is gone but long live his name and thou want it rain and the crowd wanna say we’re remain
from a working man to royality to everlasting thing
the king is gone, yeah the king is gone but long live his name
